Meeting with the management team is the best chance to ask for all kinds of resources

Yesterday held a meeting with a group of leaders. It was because the orgnazation will change, some of us will transfer to another team, so the current leaders and future leader get together with us, to talk about this change.

Nearly everyone asked questions. But not everyone got what he want. One of the leaders was not himself yesterday. He just didn't listen to us, and answer the questions quickly, careless that we didn't finish our questions.

I asked that "what will be our new position, new responsiblities, new advances". Learned that the new team will not enlarge quickly, we will focus our core business.

At the end of the meeting, a good question came to me. But hesitation killed the opportunity.

Until today, I still think that is very important, so I sent a email to my direct leader, and suggested she mail to the management team. The mainly meaning is:

1. We are an excellent team, we unlocked the gate of the North America. Some of our team members did a good job during last year. Even we won a team award, but I think the fellows deserve a more individual award.

2. The team leader will go to the new team, and the current team is still exist, so a new team leader will appear. I suggested that 3 of our members have will and be able to do more, to face new challenge.

I think what I did is right. In a organization, one should contribute his opinion, we will not miss a modest team member.

And be aggressive, meeting with the management team is the best chance to ask for all kinds of resources. Everyone will receive the benefit.
